LETTER FROM RADIO TRUTH TO FAMILY RADIO

With All Respect and Christian Love.

Dear Brethren of “Family Radio”: Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. At the Educational and Evangelical Station “Radio Truth”, we received today some mail identified as “What Is Truth?”, and we got to establish that it came from Family Radio. Inside of the envelope, there were three leaflets, which we appreciate very much. “Radio Truth” is a Short Wave and Internet radio station, fully conservative of the Word of God, the Holy Bible, integrity of Jesus’ message, and promoting only genuine spiritual music. I used to be a listener to Family Radio from my early youth, when it was founded in 1959, and I always liked very much listening to it, specially because of its good spiritual music, conservative Bible studies, and I greet you for it. I used to be very much familiar with radio speaker brother Gabriel Otero and Mr. Campins. However, after reading your three leaflets, I have two important remarks for you, which I would like you to consider, so that you can think them over: 1) You have affirmed that The Day of Judgement will be on the 21st. of May 2011. Such statement contradicts the Words of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Acts 1:7, who said: “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power”. This text demonstrates that the Father only knows when the Lord’s Day will be, and it is NOT up to us to try to find it out. Our Lord Jesus said, in Mathews 24:36-37 also: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Moreover, in Mathews 24:44, Jesus said: “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” This means that our Lord Jesus may come before or after the date you have predicted; even, He may come tonight, but NOT on a predicted date. Remember that all who have set dates previously for the Second Coming of Christ, have failed: Adventists, Russelists, Pepito Berríos, etc. 2) In one of your leaflets, it tells that we have to use only the Reina Valera 1960 Revision of the Bible. We are attaching an investigation made at the Quaker Theological Seminary, on which it is proved that the Reina Valera 1960 Revision of the Bible IS NOT FAITHFUL to all Greek and Hebrew original manuscripts in many important and essential Scriptures of the Bible. Such investigation demonstrates that there are only two Bible revisions which ARE SURELY FAITHFUL to the Greek and Hebrew original manuscripts, and they are the 1909 and 1979 revisions. We have written and sent to you these remarks, because we have always appreciated you, with much appreciation and Christian love, and we hope they serve you to think it over, so that you get nearer to the Sacred Scriptures. Thank you for the effort you make in preaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in a very effective way. May God bless and keep you all.
